Ticket Writing Style

When writing tickets, follow a human, conversational style. Keep it concise and self-contained.

  • Do NOT use markdown headings (no #, ##, etc.)
  • Write in plain prose, like a developer would write in Jira
  • Convey the main goal, context, and what the ticket includes
  • Add a short "Business value" or "Why" section if relevant
  • End with clear acceptance criteria as a simple list
  • Don't over-explain implementation details — the engineer will figure it out
  • Reference relevant TDDs, tickets, or code links where helpful
  • Keep the tone casual and direct
